When it comes to street style, many believe that each and every city has their own special style. Our assignment was to check out the streets of Paris and see if there was anything that could describe the Parisian look in general.
There are a lot of vintage shops in Paris and it seems like this influences the street style a lot. Buying vintage and green thinking has in it self become fashionable all over the world, so even though maybe 50% of the people we talked to were tourists, we can still say that it applies to the Parisian fashionistas. They combine old clothing with new shiny things like a Chanel bag or a pair of Chloé sunglasses, so that the outfit gets an interesting look. We have seen mixing in materials, patterns, texture and colour, and together it creates an interesting expression with exciting details.
The interesting details are also reflected in the architecture, or maybe it´s the other way around. The whole city has it´s own dynamics, where there in a classy area suddenly can pop out a blue door or some street art, without destroying the overall impression of a beautiful street. Just like in the outfits.
